This couple had so much fun with their engagement shoot. We walked all around the Texas A&M campus for and they never ran out of energy lol.

This was my first time shooting at this venue and i loved it! So many photo ops. I suggested a sunset shoot and lighting worked out perfectly except for the summer heat 🙂

This future bride wanted a pinterest-inspired engagement shoot. I took my iPad with me that had her pins on it and we went from there. We took all of these at Moore Ranch in Millican, TX.

This was a fun engagement shoot around the Austin area including the Welcome to Austin mural, Botanical Gardens, and Zilker Park.

This was my first photo shoot at Texas A&M’s Bonfire Memorial and also my first session with a dog!  

This was a mini photo shoot after graduation day. I took the graduate and her family to a nearby park and took a few portraits.  

We went to Miramont in Bryan, TX where they have a pretty fountain and landscaping for portraits.  

This was one of my favorite engagement shoots because it was perfect weather and we were able to use the groom’s parents’ beautiful land in Tomball, TX. We also explored the historic town and took pictures on the railroad tracks and on an old train. I also had the privilege of doing this couple’s wedding photos, cake, and invitations.

The George Bush Library Garden is another of my favorite places in College Station for a photo shoot. Behind the museum and down the stairs is a huge pond (also able to be used for fishing!) and beautiful landscaping.  

I returned to 7F Lodge with Tessa & her family. The venue where they renewed their vows years before!  

This was my first time at 7F Lodge and I loved it! There were photo opportunities everywhere, from the cabin doors, to the office porch, to the very popular turquoise pick up truck. We also took pictures at Texas A&M’s Admin Building. This building is perfect for formal pictures as the tall colonnade provides an elegant backdrop.  

I had so much fun with this family! We took these pictures at a shopping center near Houston then stopped in an old fashioned diner for a yummy shake.  

This photo shoot was all about this little girl’s birthday. Her mom wanted to use the pictures for her party invitations. We walked all around the George Bush Library Garden.

This family won a U Name It photo shoot at a charity auction, and I’m so glad they did. I really enjoyed walking around the George Bush Library Garden with their adorable son. I took a few birthday shots of just him in my cute new leather kid’s chair.

This was my first maternity shoot and it was a lot of fun! We went to both Research Park and the George Bush Library Garden.  

This couple opted for a traditional church wedding followed by a reception at the Best Western in Bryan, Tx. (I recommend this venue because their staff is always friendly and helpful.) This wedding was a lot of fun for me because I was able to do the U Name It Trifecta- invitations, photography, and cake!  

Another beautiful Country Chic wedding at 7F Lodge. I always love shooting at this venue because of the countless photo opportunities and versatility. The weather was pretty cold, but the couple chose to stick it out. I was glad for that because the chapel always makes for a great backdrop and the bride had it decorated beautifully. This was a gorgeous vow renewal ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. This church has beautiful tall windows that flood the sanctuary with natural night. The Aggie-themed reception was held at a restaurant in Bryan, TX where I delivered the bride’s cake.  

Another beautiful wedding at 7F Lodge! This is a great venue because it also has cabins around the property that the family member and newlyweds can stay the night in. The bride took extra advantage of this by also getting ready before the wedding in one of the cabins. I was able to make my first sculpted buttercream cake for this wedding. I LOVE DISNEY. I even lived and worked at Disney World a couple years ago as a photographer. So naturally, I was ecstatic that the bride told me they were having a Disney themed wedding. And not only did I get to take pictures, but I also made the bride & groom’s cakes (that corresponded to their Mickey Mouse Ears of course). Another beautiful event at 7F Lodge! I have been there many times, but this event was extra special because it was for my good friend Tessa, whom you see a lot of in my pictures. This was my first vow renewal ceremony and it was a lot of fun and fairly casual with khakis, boots, and cowboy hats in true Texas fashion. Tessa’s bridal shoot can be seen here.

I was so happy to be able to return to my hometown to shoot a wedding at Casablanca in Austin, TX. I love being able to help my friends plan their weddings! This wedding was especially fun because I designed their invitations, made their cake, and took their engagement and wedding photos. It was great to see old friends and act as not just a photographer, but also a guest. Though the weather after the ceremony was rainy and wet, the groom was a gentleman and carried his new bride to the car.

Though a sudden cold front moved the wedding ceremony inside, it didn’t hinder a thing. I always like talking with the family members and friends of the bride and groom, and this wedding was no exception. Everyone was so friendly and upbeat in spite of the freezing weather. This bride and groom’s wedding was held at the Pridgeon Community Center in Franklin, TX. I delivered their 5-tier cake before I started taking pictures.  My favorite part of this wedding was the dancing. Everyone of all ages seemed to be on the dance floor during the reception, as you can see in the photos.  

This couple had perfect weather for their all-outdoor wedding at a family member’s home in Brady, TX. All of the decorations were handmade from the beer cooler to the banners, and there were themed finishing touches such as the mason jar stemware. The layout was cleverly put together- the side lawn became a ceremony aisle, the basketball court became a dance floor, and the porch steps became a perfect avenue for introducing the wedding party. This bride & groom planned a very festive wedding on Christmas Day in Houston, TX. There were Christmas trees, light strands, and garlands about the venue. I also delivered a cake made to look like a stack of presents. The bride even wore a red dress!  

Alycia & Casey had beautiful weather for their outdoor ceremony in Mesquite, TX. The bride planned the wedding and made the decorations for the event herself, and did a wonderful job! I arrived on Friday at Laylas Day Spa to take pictures of the bachelorette party (and have a pedicure, myself)! It was a beautiful day for a bridal shoot. We spent an hour touring the 7F Lodge property and taking pictures along the way.  Each time I go to 7F, I find a new backdrop. This time, it was this amazing path covered by trees- perfect at sunset.

My favorite thing about the venue, The Westlake House, is the beautiful landscaping. There is a pond with fountain next to the house- a perfect backdrop for pictures. I took these bridal portraits in between the ceremony & reception.  

Though I did a full bridal portrait session in College Station months before, we had time to do a mini session the morning of the wedding after we found this old abandoned house.
